Fire Risk Assesments

Key Stone Security are specialists in fire risk assessment and employ a dedicated and highly trained professional in this field.

Depending on your exact requirements we will attend your site, discuss your requirements and carry out the fire risk assessment further. Once completed we will present our findings to you and then, where required, will suggest corrective measures. The measures may be for compliance with current regulations or to ensure you and your business operate in a safer environment.

Our fire risk assessments are non-intrusive and take up little of your time. A small amount of time and money invested can ensure you and your business are protected in the long term.

New fire safety rules

New fire safety rules in force in England and Wales require a greater emphasis on fire prevention in all business premises.

The new rules state that responsibility for complying with the Fire Safety order will rest with the employer and any other person who has control of any part of the premises. Responsibility for enforcement of the new rules will be with the local fire and rescue service authority who will regularly carry out inspections. Top priority will be towards those premises presenting the most risk to the community.

These new safety rules look at the risks arising from fires and other incidents and then at the options to mitigate and better manage these situations. Each organisation is expected to have a fire risk assessment carried out, which must focus on safety in the case of a fire. Particular attention should be paid to area’s at special risk and must include consideration of any dangerous substances likely to be on the premises.

With over 20 years experience in the fire and security industry UFSS are able to offer the latest advice and guidance to any organisation to ensure theyr are fully compliant and protecred.

Ket Stone Security offer a FREE SITE SURVEY as an initial fire safety check to understand the levels of compliance with the new fire & safety rules. Following our report we can advise on any further work required.
